Colorful 0.7-mile long stretch of colorfully-lit trees for Christmas
Christmas Tree Lane in Altadena is a 0.7-mile stretch of road on Santa Rosa Avenue between Woodbury Avenue and Altadena Drive with trees decorated in 10,000 colorful Christmas lights. Photos don't do this charming lane any justice - visit it and experience the captivating atmosphere for yourself! It's long enough for a nice leisurely drive through, but if you feel like walking or jogging in the Southern California cold, which is typically no lower than 40 to 50 degrees Fahrenheit, it's a good distance to do that as well. The lane has been on during the holidays for more than 80 years and is completely funded by the community without corporate support.
