Como en otras ciudades, Punta Umbría ...

Como en otras ciudades, Punta Umbría también se viste de fiesta para celebrar la Navidad, con el tradicional encendido de luces y la instalación de un Belén navideño con piezas de gran tamaño. Para aumentar la participación ciudadana, se ponen en marcha una serie de concursos como "adorna tu comercio", el "mejor árbol de Navidad", concurso infantil de belenes y elaboración del cartel anunciador de la tradicional cabalgata de los Reyes Magos. También hay un Concierto de Navidad en el Teatro del Mar, una chocolatada popular y actividades infantiles en la ludoteca “Casa Mágica”. Con el fin de dar un mayor ambiente festivo hay animación en las principales calles comerciales con una charanga, la Banda de Iniciación de la Escuela de Música y varios Papá Noel repartiendo caramelos. En la cercana pedanía de El Portil se celebra también un mercadillo navideño y cuentan con su propio Belén y Cabalgata de Reyes.

Punta Umbría es una de las zonas costeras más famosas de la provincia de Huelva desde el siglo pasado, ya que los ingleses lo convirtieron en su zona de descanso. A día de hoy podemos ver algunos de los restos de su paso, como la arquitectura de alguna de sus casas. Nosotros aprovechamos la tarde no solamente para hacer turismo, sino también había que deleitarse con las playas que nos regala el Atlántico. La verdad es que disfrutamos como enanos con los chicos del Club el Mosquito. Con ellos pudimos practicar kayak e incluso llegamos a intentar algo de surf, ¡y si, decimos intentar, porque no nos llegamos a ponernos de pie en la tabla! Pero no todo terminaba en el agua, después degustamos algunos sus mejores cocteles en un ambiente inigualable. ¿Te faltan motivos para venir a Punta Umbría?

Quien pudiera llegar por 1ª vez y ver esa maravillosa playa..... Donde por la noche tumbado en la orilla escuchando el va y ven de las olas se puede disfrutar aún, de un cielo maravillosamente estrellado, a la vez que se ven miles de estrellas fugaces. Y por el día disfrutar de sus arenas mientras te deleitas una cerveza con unas gambitas, coquinas, sardinitas o unas papas aliñás entre otras...... Sin duda lo mejor de lo mejor, pescados del día, vivos, frescos, guisados o a la plancha, carnes, arroces, mariscos, y si ya está servido por mi amigo Don Manuel se sale. Al atardecer tomar unas copitas con vistas al mar....

Who could get for the 1st time and see that wonderful beach ..... La tarde-noche por la calle Mayor

Que mejor sito que estar con la brisa y el ruido de la playa de fondo, con el bullicio de la gente y con los nuestros tomando en el bar " el caracol" unas patas se arana, unas gambitas de huelva, y unos caracoles con una cerveza bien fresquita de por medio.... Para terminat de cenar... En frente esta el muy conocido "Campero" donde ponen unas hamburguesas que quitan el hipo!!! Muy recomendables estos dos sitios, en breves subire las fotos.

What better site to be in the breeze and the sound of the beach background, with the bustle of people and with our taking the bar "snail" is spider legs, a Huelva prawns and snails with a nice cold beer in between .... For dinner terminat ... In front is the well known "Campero" where they put some burgers-stopping! Very recommended these two sites, in brief'll upload the photos.

Con el atractivo de su playa de arena blanca y extensa, y de gran gastronomía dónde puedes comer gran variedad de pescado recientes traído del mar. No hay nada más bonito que ver un atardecer desde esa playa o pasear junto a la ría viendo barquitos pasar.
