The chocolate shell is a hidden gem in Old Lyme, Connecticut that houses a wide selection of specialty chocolate. The staff are incredibly nice and will often allow for a free sample of chocolate prior to purchase. I especially love their decadent salted caramel chocolate popcorn and pieces of brittle from a local maker. They also sell oodles of old fashioned candies and candy by the bag. If you are looking to find an impressive gift for a chocolate lover look no further than The Chocolate Shell. Now that I've found it I certainly will be visiting again and again.
