Open from 9:00 a.m. to 10.00 pm, the Chimera Salad Bar is a salad buffet with hot vegetarian dishes, like soup, and some cold plates, a few with meat, where you pay by the size of dish choose, either a portion, a small plate, or a large plate. The small costs about 3 € and the larger, more than 4 €, and you get the option to "fill-up" by choosing 4 servings (small) or 7 servings (large) of the buffet. Also ordering a beverage can add a couple of euros to the final price. I recommend any of the fruit juices like currant, green grape, or mango. It's a bargain, considering that the place is very cozy and partially covered by garden vines, with tables covered by floral tablecloths, and a rustic atmosphere in a European city centre.
It is frequented equally by locals and tourists, and the waitresses ve speak English are very friendly. In the basement there is the a la carte restaurant, with exposed stone and modern décor. We did not get to try it, but we wanted to.
