Cathedral of the Holy Trinity
Chichester, in West Sussex, was one of the stops on our cycling tour of the countryside that took us from London to Newhaven. The cathedral here is quite beautiful, with its architectural history dating all the way back to 681. Here you can see a range of architectural styles, from Gothic to Norman to the magnificent Victorian steeple. It's a bit unusual for a cathedral, with an interesting bell tower. Exhibitions and events are often held here, as well as small cafes, an aspect of English cathedrals that I also found in some churches in the Netherlands.
