Museum dedicated to Will Rogers with incredible views
The museum Cheyenne Mountain Zoological Park & Will Rogers Shrine of the Sun, is in the city of Colorado Springs. This monument is just 1.4 kilometers from the Russell Tutt Scenic Highway from the the zoo. It was constructed by Spencer Penrose, between the years 1934 and 1937, and dedicated to Will Rogers, a man who died in a plane crash in the year 1935. It iis 8,136 feet high on the top floor and where there are incredible views of Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak area.
