Châtelaudren

At the edge of the rover Leff, between pastures and forests that look like they jumped out of a fairy tale, Châtelaudren. It was an impregnable medieval fortress which served as a refuge of nobles, princes and clerics. It still seems that among its stone turrets and battlements invite a princess for its prey. Formerly, it was a fortress in the time of commercially intensive Britain. It is the historic capital of the region of Goêlo. The main square, Plaza Leff, leads visitors to the jewel of the place, the chapel of Notre-Dame-du-Terre. All of the surrounding neighbourhood is known for its unique architecture and its peculiar name 'the latin quarter'.
