Cormatin Castle

A l'entrée du village de Cormatin en Bourgogne, se dresse le château du même nom. Entouré d'un grand parc verdoyant, comportant des bois, un labyrinthe de buis, une volière et un potager (entre autre...), se dresse un bâtiment en U fait de pierres blanches surmontées de toits d'ardoises pointus. Après avoir franchit une douve pour entrer dans la cour, vous serez accueillis par une charmante guide qui vous contera l'histoire des lieux. Les visiteurs sont menés à travers les pièces les plus importantes, telles que la salle à manger, la cuisine, la bibliothèque et les chambres et anti-chambres du duc et de la duchesse...Tout est TRES doré et la décoration ne donne pas dans la légèreté, fidèle à l'époque. Racheté en 1985 dans un état d'abandon avancé, il a été restauré pendant 13 ans par les propriétaires, puis ouvert au public.
