Charnley Road

Like in all cities, we always find for one reason or another higher profile or glamorous streets, which make the people living there particularly proud to reside on a street with such a great reputation. I didn't see the particular charm or difference of this street, however a local told my oblivious self that at the beginning of XX century, this is where people with money bought vacation homes. But over time this fame evaporated. The funny thing is that those who live in the area still have this old glow in the mind and are so happy about its ephemeral glory. At the entrance to the street there was a sort of light, such as those used on our streets Christmas fairs, to indicate to visitors the benefits of entering the named street.
