Cobra Charmer

Il n'est pas rare de rencontrer des montreurs de serpent en Inde : ceux-ci se déplacent avec l'animal dans une cage d'osier. Il s'agit de saltimbanques qui vivent la route. On les rencontre dans les petits villages où les gens sont friands de distraction qui sortent du quotidien. J'ai vu un second montreur de cobra dans la ville de Gwalior. Le spectacle est assez fascinant de l'entente entre l'homme et l'animal. Je me suis senti chanceux d'assister en contact très rapproché avec le musicien. (J'ai eu l'impression que ces hommes "taxaient moins" les photos que leurs homologues marocains.)

It is not uncommon to encounter showmen snake in India: they move with the animal in a wicker cage. These are entertainers who live the road. They are found in small villages where people are fond of distraction coming out everyday. I saw a second cobra showman in the city of Gwalior. The show is quite fascinating to the agreement between the humans and animals. I felt very lucky to attend up with musician contact. (I got the impression that these men "less taxing" the photos their Moroccan counterparts.)
