History of the writer
The Charles Dickens Museum was the author's London home from 1837 to 1839. Paintings, writing and furniture belonging to his family can be found over 4 floors. The whole story of his life is recounted in this museum. Most of Dickens' works offer descriptions of London, the River Thames, the City ... from the outside, it looks like a typical London house, but a blue plaque tells you that it was Dickens' home.
