The highest dune in the world
White Mountain, which reaches an altitude of 2078 meters, and more than 900 meters from its base, is the highest stable dune in the world. It was formed by windblown sands, for thousands of years, from the Pacific.. It is a "sacred Apu" to the Nazca culture and they that inside is a microclimate, not only for its height, but also for its geographic location in the foothills of the Andes, between these and the Pacific. It is in the Valley, or Pampa, Nazca. You can access it by ATV or buggy. This top gives an incredible view of the Andes, the valley and the Pacific. It is surrounded by dunes, offering the perfect setting to go sandboarding.
