A beautiful day out
Una bellissima gita fuori porta
Alle porte di Roma, a circa 30 km di distanza si trova un paesino molto carino che si chiama Nemi. In meno di un'ora dalla capitale si può raggiungere il centro storico di questo paese molto suggestivo, caratterizzato dalle famose fragoline ma anche dal suo lago.
In provincia di Roma ci sono molti laghi e quello di Nemi è uno di questi, non è molto grande ma per fare una scampagnata e una gita fuori dal traffico e dal caos della città è il luogo adatto. Al lago si accede facilmente tramite l'entrata principale del campo attrezzato dove si possono affittare barchette e canoe per fare un giro del lago. Invece, se preferite la solitudine ed un luogo più appartato, percorrendo le stradine interne un pò tortuose si arriva all'altra sponda del lago dove ci si può fermare e godere della tranquillità di questo posto.
Il paesino, invece, si trova in alto e si raggiunge in 10 minuti di macchina dal lago. è molto caratteristico perché offre varie terrazze panoramiche con la vista del lago e al tramonto il paesaggio è ancora più bello. Vi è anche la terrazza dell'amore raggiungibile dal paese ma anche dal lago con un percorso a piedi. Il paese è piccolo ma è molto caratteristico, il simbolo è la fragola infatti tutti i bar, i ristoranti ed i forni vendono le famose crostatine crema e fragoline di bosco. Ogni negozietto della strada principale vende souvenir a forma di fragola ma anche marmellate, non solo di fragola ma anche di more, frutti di bosco, ciliege ecc..
Nemi e il suo lago è stata davvero una piacevolissima scoperta!
At the gates of Rome, about 30 km away is a very nice little village called Nemi. In less than an hour from the capital you can reach the historic center of this village very picturesque, characterized by the famous strawberries but also its lake. In the province of Rome there are many lakes and the Nemi one of these, not very big but for a picnic and a trip out from the traffic and chaos of the city the right place. The lake is accessed easily via the main entrance of the ger camp where you can rent boats and canoes to tour the lake. Instead, if you prefer solitude and a more secluded spot along the internal streets a winding p you get to the other shore of the lake where you can stop and enjoy the tranquility of this place. The village, however, is located at the top and is approximately a 10 minute drive from the lake. very unique because it offers several terraces with panoramic views of the lake and sunset, the landscape even more beautiful. It also loves the terrace accessible from the country but also from the lake with a walking trail. The small country but very quaint, the symbol strawberry fact all the bars, restaurants and bakeries selling the famous custard tarts and strawberries. Every shop in the main street selling souvenirs in the shape of strawberry jams but also, not only strawberry but also blackberries, berries, cherries etc .. Nemi and its lake was a really pleasant discovery!
