Situado en el margen izquierdo del río Ebro, a las afueras de Logroño y unido al Casco Antiguo de la ciudad por el Puente de Piedra, se encuentra el Cementerio Municipal de la ciudad. Se trata de una construcción que data del siglo XIX y que, a partir del antiguo camposanto, ha ido sufriendo numerosas ampliaciones a lo largo de los años. Construido en 1832 por iniciativa de Cayetano de Sierra. Con ampliaciones del cementerio que se llevaron a cabo por los arquitectos Luis Barrón, entre 1884 y 1886, y Fermín Álamo, a partir de 1910.
Located on the left bank of the river Ebro, Logroño outside and joined the Old Town of the city by the Stone Bridge, is the city's Municipal Cemetery. It is a building dating from the nineteenth century and, from the old cemetery, underwent numerous expansions over the years. Built in 1832 on the initiative of Cayetano Sierra. With expansion of the cemetery that were carried out by architects Luis Barron, between 1884 and 1886, and Fermin Alamo, from 1910.
