A lovely view
Centrally located, with a lovely view of the city and its iconic shipyards, La Grotte is one of my favourite small restaurants in the lovely old port of La Ciotat. Modest, unpretentious and friendly, it has a wonderful terrace where you can enjoy the cool of the evening, especially in summer, as well as the lively night market. The dishes aren't necessarily very original, but they're all very good - classics at affordable prices.
