The devotion of Cienfuegos

Excellent

Located opposite the park, but rather in a corner, is the 1869 unpretentious Cienfuegos Cathedral with a treasure - tinted French windows. At the time of my visit the windows and the entire building under renovation. The restoration has uncovered some strange Chinese characters on columns dating back to one year after the start of the temple's construction. The image, for which it is named is the patron of the city, curiously was bought in Barcelona, as well as his robe and jewelry, and like the rest, is due to the great devotion of the leading Spanish families of Cienfuegos descent. The Aviles family donated the French clock with 4 spheres, altars, Sunday Sarria and Tomas Rivalta the stained glass representing the twelve apostles (polychrome glass and lead acorns from Paris), Pedro Eduardo the Dorticós bronze bells (artistic works by the size, sound and elements) the Albis of Sarria, the marble for the floor, other interior elements and doors, Nicholas Acea ...

The work that currently restoration work suggests much of his wealth.
