place of whispering trees

Excellent

The combined tour of Cuernavaca-Taxco is in one of the most popular for those visiting Mexico DF. Even though we hadn't planned on it, this was a wonderful opportunity to visit these places. In the morning we went Cuernavaca in Morelos, where we passed one of the best monuments in Zapata. It shows him on a fast horse commanding the Revolution. The name comes from an Indian word meaning "the place of whispering trees," or Cuauhnáhuac. It's a frequent federal destination on weekends. In Cuernavaca, we saw little, just the Cathedral and a couple of streets. However, the temple caught my attention.

As one of the most ancient cities in Mexico, the date of its construction is no less ancient. It dates from about 1520, and the building contains murals on its inner walls of oriental influence. Authorship is attributed to artists come from China and the Philippines in the early days of trading with Spain. I never would have guessed that Spanish trade routes to Mexico would bring artists from as far away as China. The paintings, the light, and the feeling of abandonment permeating the facade and gardens facing the monumental interior of the Cathedral, gives the temple an air of rediscovery, which you will want to talk about to any who will listen. Really beautiful.

Walking through the historic center

Excellent

Cuernavaca is a relatively small city that belonged to an Aztec dominion in the pre-colonial era, it serves as a passageway between Mexico City and Acapulco. Due to its short distance from Mexico City and its good weather it's a summer resort for many from the capital. Cuernavaca has recently grown disproportionately causing traffic chaos and increased its urban sprawl, creating new neighborhoods and districts. However, the first picture of the city, the historic center remains intact, keeping facades of the time and the colors and details of the colonial era. It is also home to the cathedral city

Of Cuernavaca a beautiful ornate building with baroque features, visiting this property is one of the most pleasant experience that one can have in this city that has almost everything.
