The most emblematic villages of my region

Castelmezzano is one of the most emblematic villages of my region: La Basilicata. It's found between the Lucan Dolomites and it's a gorgeous place which I'd recommend to anyone. It's also pretty easy to get there: there's a scenic highway which takes you there and is even more exciting if you do it on two wheels instead of four!

There are lots of good lunch options in the area, from the farms themselves (20-25 €) to the village taverns (30€ at most). I’d suggest eating in the "Becco della Civetta," a quaint little inn which, while not cheap, has divine food from the region and amazing views.

At any time of year, you can "fly" between the Dolomites: the "il volo dell'angelo" (Flight of the Angel) is a unique attraction in Europe, a trail of incredible length and height. I tatter on...rather, I'll let you discover this wonderful place for yourself! :D
