Cassini Center Gallery

Este edificio convertido en galería, aún hoy propiedad de la familia de Roque Cassini S.R.L, fue antiguamente Gran Tienda “La Buenos Aires”, famosa por la cantidad y variedad de sus productos, desde telas para vestir, tapicería, lencería, ropa confeccionada para adultos y niños, etc. Ubicada en la esquina SO de Peatonal Córdoba y Entre Ríos, ha sido considerada por la Municipalidad de Rosario como Patrimonio Arquitectónico de la ciudad con el Grado de protección A, Categoría 2 b. A pesar de las modificaciones a las que fuera sometido el edificio antes de ser declarado patrimonio, aún conserva el piso superior original y en la planta baja las columnas de mármol negro y aplicaciones de reluciente fundición de bronce pulido, que envuelven la base y suben como hojas cerrando las esquinas. Las nervaduras rematan las columnas en la parte superior con un diseño similar al de la base y en el centro muestran una cabeza de león que sostiene una placa con la C de Cassini. La cúpula que da el remate al edifico tiene una pequeña mansarda con techo de pizarra y una ventana circular. Caminando por su reducido interior mientras recorremos sus locales, nos encontramos en el centro, en que se unen las entradas por Peatonal Córdoba y Calle Entre Ríos, que aún se conservan algunos espacios con la madera original y aplicaciones de bronce; locales estos que están habilitados como peluquerías y academias para modelos. Ingresando al edificio por Entre Ríos 820 se encuentra la administración de las propiedades Cassini, depósitos, otras oficinas y talleres. Caminando por Entre Ríos, cruzando la Peatonal Córdoba nos encontramos a media cuadra y uno frente a otro los edificios de la[poi=54658]Facultad de Humanidades y Artes de la U.N.R[/poi], la Sede Social del [poi=54658] Centre Català y haciendo esquina con calle Santa Fe la [poi=521309] Asociación Española de Socorros Mutuos[/poi]. La ubicación es la de la Galería, el teléfono es el de la administración y no tienen página web.
