Old town of Gruyères

Gruyères old town is perfect to stroll through, it's on a hill and from it you can get closer at the medieval castle. Basically, the old town consists of one long street whose facades are beautiful buildings, with many souvenir shops and outdoor cafes (it lives almost exclusively on tourism). The old town is pedestrianized so it's best to leave the car at the bottom of the hill and walk.
