Casa Quaroni

Vero e proprio gioiello dell’architettura liberty della città di Novara, Casa Quaroni è situata al numero 28 del Baluardo Quintino Sella. Realizzata su progetto dell’ingegnere Mario Rosina e costruita fra il 1905 e il 1907, presenta una facciata caratterizzata da finestre di forma circolare, delle quali una al di sopra del portone principale, sovrastato anch’esso da una cornice a linee ondulate, mentre l’altra è una cornice che racchiude l’apertura rettangolare classica che garantisce l’accesso al balcone. Tratto caratteristico dell’edificio è proprio questa alternanza di motivi a linea curva con motivi a linea retta, che creano un assieme molto elegante e armonioso, accentuato dall’ottimo stato di conservazione dell’immobile.
