Excellent place to learn
It is one of the most interesting museums in the city. Founded by Frans Blom and Gertrude Duby, it tells the story of the Lacandon, forest dwellers from Chiapas, in the Lacandon Jungle, shown in Gertrude's photographs showing the history of indigenous peoples around San Cristobal, from Chamula and Zinacantán to remote and surprising a ones in Magdalenas or San Bartolo. The house also offers accommodation and food, following the tradition that its founders had with the explorers, anthropologists, archaeologists and artists who passed through the city.
