Perfect place to eat tapas. It reminded me very much of Bilbao, but no, we were in Santander. You have two options: sit out on the terrace overlooking the beautiful cloudy harbor, or enter to plumb the depths of the tapas bar and extensive wine list.
The waiters were very friendly, the place was clean, and, very importantly, the tapas were prepared very well. Highly recommended.
After arriving in Santander, we left our things at the hotel and went for a bite to eat at Restaurante Casa Lita. Besides being a nice place and located a few meters from Puerto Chico, the quality and taste of the skewers we ordered was amazing Specifically the shrimp cocktail skewer with puff pastry is the very best I've tasted in Santander.
This place has a great variety of delicious tapas. We couldn't stop ordering one after another. Everything was wonderful and the waiters were very friendly.
I really recommend it! Oh, and the location has some stunning views of the harbor. I suggest the pincho of cheese with peach compote and walnuts.
A long pinchos bar reminiscent of San Sebastian, with great variety and quality. A highlight for me was the variety of wines to choose from, something that other places in Santander lack. The varieties of Spanish omelets were all very tasty.
