When visiting Tuscany there is nothing better than staying in a cottage which is well located and near a good road which allows you to visit the local towns. We found ours, called Casa Gavignano via the agency "Casa Tuscany Holidays AG", which I have to say gives first service and assistance. Managed by Antonio Secchiano, the agency has a website (info@casa-toscana-ag.Com) where you can choose the cottage that best suits your travel expectations. My first choice was wrong because it was not what I expected. However, Antonio Secchiano then found me an alternative to better suit my needs at no extra charge and with great kindness.
I am very grateful for the treatment and care provided. I recommend that you rate this review in "minube" in order to prove it, and so that a great number of other users can find it. Returning to the Gavignano House, I will say that it´s very close to the town called Poggibonsi, about 2 Km away. This little town is not significantly pretty or touristic, but you can easily do your shopping at a large supermarket, which is stocked with everything you need for your holidays. Gavignano House is managed by Franco Valacchi and his wife, a lovely couple who try to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Italian Franco is a very caring person and always willing to help with whatever you need. Recently refurbished and with a number of apartments, the privacy of the home is complete. It has a pool, parking, solarium etc. You can see these and other services on its website or in "Casa Tuscany Holidays". It is a lost corner. From there you can visit wonderful cities such as Volterra, Siena, San Gimignano and the Chianti, to give some examples. I highly recommend it. Thanks to Franco and Antonio, they made my holiday in Tuscany unforgettable.
