Casa do Infante Archaeological Museum

A small museum inside one of the towers that are part of the Casa do Infante that has been declared a National Monument. Inside we were surprised by the breadth of the room, from the outside it looks much smaller. Remains found in archaeological excavations exposed this building as it was built at various times by successive enlargements. There are mosaic floors, the room is lit by dim light (no flash photography allowed) and several metal walkways to move from one area to another.
