The best place for your shopping
In a beautiful eighteenth century colonial building, the Casa de Artesanías Tukulná is a shop where you can buy pottery, hammocks, books, preserves, delicacies, objects carved in wood or stone, bone and bull horn crafts, regional dresses, hippie hats (Panama type) and other palm objects. Tukulná (which means "the house of thought") is much more than a store, it's a space where you can discover a little more about the customs, traditions and folk art expressions of the town. The store is a showroom for various types of handicrafts from Campeche. At the back of the store there's a reproduction of a typical Mayan house reflecting the Mayan lifestyle of Campeche.
