Casa Cayo

We arrived in Potes and went straight to the hotel. The reception upon arrival impressed us all. Then we went to the rooms. We were given two different rooms to choose from, for the same price and stayed in the "Palomar", a stunning room in the highest floor of the hotel.

Kindness, silence, and peacefulness are the hallmarks of this hotel located in the center of Potes. I slept like I was in my own home. Regarding the restaurant, the food and local wines were very good, and the desserts ...oh! Beyond words.

In short, if you're visiting Potes, this is one of the best options in town, without having to use the car or move at all.

We had excellent views of the Picos de Europa while enjoying some Cantabrian beef. This place was recommended by a friend from the area and it was a wonderful experience, even in August, which is usually the worst time to visit.

I highly recommended the roast lamb and the salad of caramelized onions, red and green peppers, and tuna. I was so luxurious. Oh, and I can't forget the homemade apple pie.

Good service and friendly staff, although we still had to wait despite having made a reservation.
