Carquejeira Fountain

Among the Casa das Brolhas and the Church of Exile is the Carquejeira Fountain, one of the many public fountains throughout the city, whose function was to supply water to the population when running water wasn't in houses. It is rectangular and the water comes from two pipes embedded in a granite pediment.
