Carlisle Park
Carlisle Park is undoubtedly the most characteristic park in Morpeth, and it's central since its location is right at the beginning of the town, where the castle was built. Half half park and half garden, this huge and lovely place is by the river and it comes alive in the summer. Local authorities installed pools for the children and in the quieter sections of the river there are lots of rowboats for adults. There's a lot of green throughout the year, with the exception of in the winter, where everything becomes black. It's the city's hub and has earned fame and awards in the North of England.
