This pictures were taken around Carnaval 2015. My family and I always go to Bahía de Caráquez since my family is from there and I must say that I love it! The main reason why I love it is because it's so peaceful and lovely (sometimes way too peaceful) and is just a great place to relax. This time I went kayaking with my german sister (she's and exchange student, and her host family) and it cost us around $15... and also there were other water sport activities and they usually cost around $15 -$30 in the beach of Bahía. If you go to Bahía don't forget to snap a picture in the lighthouse (called

"El Faro") because is so beautiful and one of Bahía's main attractions!Another fun thing I got to do was to finally go to "Isla Corazón", it's a little heart-shaped Island close to Bahía (it cost us around $15 to get the full island tour) and for real is a really beautiful and peaceful place! We had a boat trip on the island where we got to hear the beautiful bird sounds (there's a lot of bird diversity) and it's just so beautiful

A Small City for Relaxation

This small town of 20,000 inhabitants is a good place to spend a nice weekend on the beach with beautiful views, some good restaurants, and nice, quaint hotels. I found a nice place to relax and have a good weekend. In the 2010, a bridge was inaugurated, which up to then, you couldn't take the road to San Vicente in five little minutes like you can now. It's a really nice site.
