The Castillito Caracol is one of the attractions of Gramado and Canela. This half-timbered residence dates back to the year 1913, and is now a museum, showing how German immigrants lived at that time. Beyond the cultural interest, one of the great attractions is a cafe serving apple strudel, prepared on a wood oven that still works. Delightful!
