A place full of poetry

Capo Testa offers a visual spectacle that’s almost unequaled. Extraordinary colors, whimsical rock forms, amazing sunsets over the water the likes of which you've never seen before…it’s a place full of poetry that’s like a living dream…and the Gorgonzola and raisin pizza they make in the area is delicious!

Sandy coves

Capo Testa is a small cape connected to the mainland by a strip of sand (which is also the access road) located in the village of Santa Teresa di Gallura. The Capo Testa lighthouse is visible throughout the entire northwest part of the island. Capo Testa is made up of beautiful granite boulders and riddled with small paths leading to sandy coves. The views of the cliffs of Bonifacio, Corsica are remarkable!

A sea of stone

During my trip to Sardinia, I had the chance to visit Capo Testa, a rocky island at the northern extreme of the island located near a small town called Santa Teresa (not a bad place to eat and go for a walk, either). Capo Testa is one of those places where you go to do wind sports like kite or wind surfing. It’s a coastal area full of giant grey boulders which might seem a bit intimidating at first but going for a hike there is actually a lot of fun. I’d suggest making a stop. Every time I go I like it more and more.

Beautiful part of Sardinia

Great

Cabo Testa is located in the outskirts of Santa Teresa di Gallura. If you follow the trail to the lighthouse, you’ll have lots of amazing views along the way. There are also some fantastic little beaches, but you basically need to be a skilled mountain climber to get to them! Seriously though, it’s worth a visit!
