A rugged landscape of boulders strewn pine leads to this small valley, watered by the Cabriel, which until recently was a Spanish holding Resinera Union. The demise of the industry was abandoning the village and resinero Cañizar populated, one on each side of the road. The village served as a hospital during the Civil War and retains some good sized houses. The village, next to the factory, it retains the old kilns, the chapel and even a tennis court where, they say, he made his first steps Manolo Santana.
