Cancún International Airport

This is the 2nd largest airport in Mexico in terms of its size, but it is the 1st in terms of the sheer number of passengers it receives throughout the year. Last year it received more 11 million people (and dropped by 1 million the number of tourists in the year 2008 due to the swine flu panic that came up in the country). It is situated 16 kilometers from the center of Cancun, which belongs to the state of Quintana Roo, on the Caribbean coast, on the Yucatan Peninsula. This airport has 3 outward terminals, and various facilities like "duty-free" stores, lockers, restaurants, money exchange, etc

Small airport, not very organized, but is ok. I was expecting a bit more
