Waterfalls and squirrels

Triberg is famous for its waterfalls, Black Forest cake and cuckoo clocks - arguably it's the heart of this "paradise" and the place from where they have the most salvanegrinas traditions. I was attracted by the fame of the Gutach River Falls, I imagined them wilder and more isolated, but it was a surprise to see these waterfalls in the same town. We chose to roam around the so-called Nature's Way, 1 of 3 paths that start from the entrance to the site and after paying € 3.5 you can see one of the highest waterfalls in Germany. Watch out because all sites say they are the highest, but at 163 m they're in 9th place.

It's true that the place is beautiful and the route lasts nearly 2 hours in comfort with nature, because, besides the river Gutach and seven hops (don't expect to see a great vertical jump) you can enjoy the company of beautiful squirrels that aren't shy are follow a path of incredible lush trees. We arrived late in the afternoon and were lucky enough to walk Nature's Way almost alone, a perfect ending to our visit to the great heart of the Black Forest!
