A colonial path with many species of life
Panama City combines greenery with a contemporary skyline. You can find many national parks walking away just a few kilometers from the center, such as Cerro Ancon, the Metropolitan National Park or the Camino de Cruces National Park. The Camino de Cruces National Park, between Sovereignty National Park and the Metropolitan Natural Park is characterized by a landscape with mountains and hills, surrounded by rainforests. The vegetation is composed of over 1,300 plant species, and is an important wildlife refuge inhabited by 105 types of mammals, 525 types of birds, 79 types of reptiles and 36 types of freshwater fish.
