Edinburgh streets

Three months living in another city and you get to know it from cover to cover, especially if it's the size of Edinburgh (at least what I understand Old & New Town and vicinity). However, one thing that fascinated me from the beginning was the myriad of alleyways, passageways and basements. Frankly, it's worth a little detour, or to change your path, and walk through them.
