A nice memorial
The California Vietnam Veterans Memorial (Sacramento) is a monument designed in the form of concentric circles, surrounded by weeping cherry trees. The outer ring of the monument is composed of low, precast concrete planters, with three entrances into the circle. The inner circle has entrances in the 4 cardinal points. The inner circle has a bronze figure of a combat soldier sitting on his helmet with his M-16 rifle.
