California Academy of Sciences

The Academy of Sciences in San Francisco is located in the middle of Golden Gate Park just in front of the De Young Museum. The SF City Pass, a booklet with many discounts, suggested that we go here. It is a nature museum with exhibitions of the world's rainforests filled by many colorful butterflies, and a large aquarium with exotic fish below. There's also a planetarium which tells the story of the Earth and space. And throughout the museum you can visit exhibitions to learn about the evolution of species on our planet. This is a very informative museum, perfect for children, and absolutely huge!

It is so interesting and funny, if you don't like kids, try to go the Thursday in the evening "night life" and you can enjoy a good drink while walking around.
