A great cafe
What a great cafe! It's next to the Sant Gilles market, and well worth a visit. If you're browsing in the market, even if you're not hungry, stop by to take in the historical atmosphere. It is on the ground floor on what was the famous town house, a landmark building from the early twentieth century. The current bar opened in 2008, and oozes life. I visited on a Sunday morning at breakfast time, and saw many families inside. However, it transforms itself throughout the day, and the evenings have drinks and DJs. Its brick walls are covered with paintings (there's a variety of exhibitions), and it's just great.
