Coline
Lovely French restaurant
Finding a small, quiet place for lunch or a leisurely dinner in Covent Garden can be challenge. It's great if you love lively bars and restaurants, but we opted for quiet Hanover Square only a few meters away. Cafe des Amis is the only restaurant on this charming and hidden street but we loved it. I got the ravioli with eggplant and ricotta, and the mussels marinieres. The portions were large and the price is fixed: 9.5 pounds. At noon, you can have lunch on the go for less than 10 pounds and enjoy a salad, an omelet or a sandwich, with a dessert (we recommend the chocolate mousse!).
