Café dining at Calle 3 # 6-38 in the traditional neighborhood of San Antonio, can be enjoyed in a typical house of the area however more modern, pleasant and cool. The combination of old and modern decoration and furniture provides an eclectic feel, unusual for a restaurant but in very good taste. Our cuisine is characterized by the sensitivity of the combination of ingredients, the presentation of the dishes and affordable prices. The aim dining at the Café is to make every one of the dishes an innovative artistic creation, merging the textures and flavors into a specific flavor, culminating in a dish appealing to the eyes, the nose and the palate. Classic recipes are reinterpreted, where the protagonists are cutting-edge ingredients, resulting in a select list of cold appetizers like Zucchini and cheese (thin rashers grilled zucchini, mozzarella cheese and cream cheese with fine herbs and spicy sauces) or hot Arepa Thai (accompanied by Tortilla and mango julienne vegetables sautéed in soy sauce). The phenomenal list of entrees is adorned with a fusion of sweet and sour flavors in the Lomo Mora sauce and coffee, or the combination of sauce and crunchy walnuts in Salmon sauce, sweet and sour pork steak preserved in apple and coffee. The side dishes range from mashed green bananas, vegetables turned to zucchini, asparagus and carrots. Salads also make a tempting choice, like the Julian Café salad with chicken, assorted lettuce, mushrooms and mozzarella cheese in a mild aniseed dressing and fresh salad with a variety of lettuces and fruits like mango, papaya, melon, tangerine and strawberry in a passion fruit based house dressing. For lovers of a perfect ending to a good meal, the desserts are delicious. Pears in wine with vanilla ice cream, espressos, cappuccinos or hot Mocacinos or Frappes accompanied by vanilla ice cream. Wines are varied, with lots of flavor and various cultivars. Las Margaritas, Bloody Mary, the Tom Collins and the Screwdirver are part of the cocktails offered on the menu. Dining Coffee offers special packages for business and family events. It is open from Tuesday to Saturday (Monday to Friday from 12:00 noon to 10:00 pm and Saturdays from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm).
