Cactus

It is in a high traffic street close to the center of Mataró, in the old town. Although it seems small, is actually larger than it appears. The service provided by the owner / waiter is very good, its like being at home. I've been several times, and the menu of the day is not usually very varies but both quality and price are good. A la carte dishes are more expensive but worth it. Its best to book a table on weekends as it fills up. I especially recommend the brownie dessert.
