A streetcar named pleasure
I gave in to the pleasure of the famous attraction in San Francisco: the cable car. This is a mechanized way to climb the steep hills by tram, driven by an underground cable. I enjoyed the stunning views: behind me, in the bay, Alcatraz Island and its famous historical prison could be seen. A stop at the intersection of Lombard Street revealed the sight of a one-way street on a steep slope, lined with hydrangeas. The tram now plunges into the shadow of skyscrapers.
