Cabinda
Cabinda is one of the 18 provinces of Angola. This territory is completely separated from the rest of the country by the Democratic Republic of Congo, which surrounds the province to the east and the south. To the north is the Republic of Congo and to the west is the Atlantic. Ths geographical location has meant that over the years certain groups have sought for independence from the area under the name of Republic of Cabinda. In addition to this, Cabinda is one of the richest provinces in Angola due to oil. The city does does not have a lot of charm but it does have some beautiful surroundings.
When we arrived there, a guide took us to a sort of ship graveyard that was also port, which was very charming. This is one of the poorest areas of Cabinda and you can see huts made with all kinds of materials everywhere, many of them have boats on the shore in an area that has been abandoned for many years. This particular area has a great charm thanks to its wooden boats, people doing business, or those going from one side to another. The people of Cabinda are humble and give the area life. Although this is a dirty part of the city, it is definitely worth a visit.
