Bus Station

The Badulla bus station is in the center of the city, on King Street. It is used only for local travel, and we came and returned from it by train. As it is a very mountainous region, the train's speed is perhaps 25km per hour, but the bus goes at 15! I know it is very very slow and you won't save much time if you arrange a private transfer. The prices of the buses are super low, to go to 10-15km of the town, costs 20RS, which is 10 euro cents. The buses run frequently, but as there is less tourism in Badulla to Kandy for example, people speak less English and signs with destinations of the buses
