A Resort Town
Ulcinj is a resort town in the south of Montenegro and is next to Kotor, the primary destination for tourists visiting the country. Ulcinj is on the coast, which has an extensive number of hotels and apartments aimed at tourists. The beaches are clean and are usually very attractive. Ulcinj station is relatively modern, spacious and has many windows for attending customers. At this station, buses come from all over the country (mostly from Podgorica, Kotor and Bar). We came from Bar, on a modern, if somewhat full, bus with both driver and passengers being friendly and curious. The station is full of taxi drivers, legal as well as illegal, so it is advisable to know clearly where you want to go next, and not be seduced by the first thing offered.
