A cozy atmosphere
The Tea Room Bullivant of York is certainly less famous than many of its competitors, but it's also much less expensive and less crowded than Betty's, which, as you know, is an institution in town! We did a day trip to York, and, adapting to English traditions, we treated ourselves to a break in the afternoon for a classic English tea, which we were served with scones (served with butter and jam), typical Scottish sweets similar to a small brioche, but less sweet.
