Buckfastleigh Railway Station is a railway station in the town of Buckfastleigh located in the county of Devon in the south of England. It stands at the entrance of Dartmoor National Park, and was originally opened in 1872 by the company of Buckfastleigh, Totnes and South Devon Railway, which connected four towns in southern England (Totnes, Buckfastleigh, Ashburton and Staverton). At the end of the nineteenth century, the station was incorporated into the larger network of the Great Western Railway. Buckfastleigh railway station was closed in 1958, but it reopened after a decade with a new purpose.
