Buchart Gardens

The Buchart Gardens were created in 1906 as a private garden by Mrs Buchart. Today they are managed by the state as a National Monument and are one of the most visited tourist attractions on Vancouver Island. Every year, for over 60 years, there is a rose competition and the winning roses are still grown and maintained on permanent display. The wonderful fragrances and intensity of the colors provide a wonderful and tranquil environment.

Si se está en Vancouver merece la pena ir a pasar un día a Victoria y conocer, entre otras cosas, los famosos Jardines Butchart. Es difícil imaginar un rincón así en un lugar con un clima como el canadiense, pero es imprescindible para los amantes de la naturaleza y de la fotografía. No se puede dejar de conocer este jardín tan cuidado (es Patrimonio Nacional Histórico), sobre todo la fuente y los rosales y para los amantes de lo zen, el sector oriental. Recomiendo ir en verano donde se puede apreciar en su esplendor toda la belleza de las plantas y flores.

If Vancouver is worth going for a day to Victoria and meet, among other things, the famous Butchart Gardens. It is hard to imagine a corner and in a place with a climate like Canada, but for lovers of nature and photography. Not to be missed this garden so carefully (s Historic National Heritage), especially the source and the roses and lovers of zen, the eastern sector. I recommend going in the summer where you can appreciate its splendor all the beauty of plants and flowers.
